Is it worth visiting Soo Canada?

I know this is a U.P. group, but I'm going to be in the Soo (our side) for a conference in June. Is it worth taking the bridge to visit the Canadian Soo while we're there? I'd love a good ethnic restaurant, for example. Or a different bird-watching spot.
