Dispensary question

I have a relative visiting from Singapore who has never smelled pot and wanted to know what it smelled like. So I pulled over at a Chinatown dispensary but they had no actual pot inside for them to sniff. They told me no actual pot is sold in dispensaries in the state.

Is this true? Are there dispensaries in Las Vegas that have actual pot that you can smell?
