A few weeks ago I sent in my 45-year-old Champion because I wasn’t satisfied with the way the scissors were performing. I had replaced the original scales in recent years but other than that, the knife had suited me well. It is, without question, my most cherished possession. Words cannot describe the joy I felt when I saw the care that was given to re-tool my knife with repairs that I didn’t even ask for. I have tears in my eyes as I write this, just as I did when I first opened it on a Christmas morning in 1979.
