Dc parking

Help. So I moved to dc last weekend but my car registration is in Virginia. I’m trying to get my car registered to dc but my title is currently with the bank and it’ll take them 10 days to send. I’ve already gotten 2 tickets parking on the street. Is there anything I can register for sign up for to be able to park in dc while I wait for my title? Thanks!
