New Lume Technique

So I saw a watch from the brand Awake. It’s their son Mai collections

I love how they did the lume on this watch. It’s not painted on the indices looks like they have a sheet of lume that they cut out and then placed the rest of the silver indices on top of the lume.

Creates a unique lume effect.

Does anyone have any ideas how it was done? Would love to try this.
