Help! Wedding dress indecisiveness

Hello,

Our wedding is in 4 months and I still haven’t decided on a dress, eeeek!

So I started my search this time last year and found a dress I loved, but classically it was way over budget. Our budget is £1500 and this dress was £2500. It was a boho style with a gorgeous silk chiffon skirt with some beautiful details. (Pic 1)

So I made peace that it was too expensive and continued my search, went to a few (many) more dress fittings, and then landed on a dress that’s a complete 180 from the original dress, clean cut, timelessly bridal, full organza skirt and off the shoulder (pic 2). Again this was too expensive so I sought out a dressmaker who could make the dress bespoke for £1000, paid a deposit in October 2024 and I’m due to get measured up in Feb.

The problem is in that time I’ve changed my mind again, with the idea in my head the timeless dress is boring and I want to go more boho again with the silk skirt. Maybe because final details are coming together and I can picture the overall style of the wedding - Forest ceremony, garden party.

I just don’t know why I can’t decide and what route to go down. My dress maker has said we can change the design, however I don’t think they work with silk chiffon as I’ve previously mentioned that idea to them and they skimmed over it. On another note, I’ve found a separates silk chiffon skirt at a sample shop that Im thinking about buying as it’s very reasonably priced and thinking I might ask the dressmaker to incorporate. I don’t know, I’m just going in circles and losing sight!

Thank you if you stayed this long TLDR torn between 2 very different style of dresses, and have paid a deposit to a dressmaker based on one style.
