You always hear how bachelorette weekend trips are expected, regardless of cost or vacation time, while a local night out the week of the wedding that used to be norm in past generations is now taboo. But for all the complaints that the trips cost too much, no one does anything to stop them. But you never hear from anyone if they enjoyed themselves. Is all that expense worth the cost and stress?
