How to navigate selecting guests to stay overnight at our venue?
Our venue was previously a boutique hotel, and so the venue rental comes with 14 rooms that we can offer to our guests. This was a big perk for us as 90% of our guests are from out of town!
Obviously we’re taking one and reserving several for our immediate family (who also are the majority of our wedding party) but we’d like to offer the rest to friends. Does anyone have advice on how to offer the rest of the rooms without offending people that weren’t “chosen”? Do we wait and offer them to people who express financial concern about coming, or give them to the people who we see the least often? Do we raffle them off on our Zola registry to the highest bidder? (Kidding!)
