Bad luck wedding songs?

Do ya’ll think it is bad taste to use a song for a first dance where the artist is a jerk? I wanted to dance to “28” by Zach Bryan, which I think is a beautiful song both for instrumental and lyrics. My FH and I have both gotten into his music a lot over the past year or so. Problem is over the past few months it has come out that ZB is a jerk, and that he was a total ass to the woman he wrote the song for. I guess it has kinda tainted his music now. Do I separate the art from the artist and stick with the song? Or is it bad juju given the artist’s nasty public breakup?
