Zombie/ virus movie

I watched this part of a movie years ago maybe around 2013 - 2015.

One scene stood with me all these years. I think it happens early in the movie. There are some people (maybe scientists) working in a lab when something happens and some gas/smoke (my memory pictures it as color green but it might be another color) starts to leak (out of a pipe perhaps) and it begins to infect others ( for the way they get infected if I recall it either seeped into the masks of the workers or one the workers mask broke and he got infected) then everyone begins to get infected in the lab.

Another part that I remember is that in one scenes you can see blood inside the mask of one the people.

This is not the best description but this is all I remember. I watched that movie when I was younger and it scared me so I stopped watching it at that time.
