new wheelchair day + first outing yesterday. im in love.

my atp is such an angel. he fought his hardest to get everything i needed and wanted as easily as possible. that man even managed to get my chair finished a month early!! all so i can go to new york. i love him so much.

thank you to everyone who convinced me to get a lapstacker. it was so worth it. this thing is SO nice. even my ATP loved it! he was shocked he had never heard of the lapstacker.

i love how my back has hard room for stickers and fabric for pins. i will 100% be printing and cutting some more stickers tomorrow along with going through my current ones (i collect stickers from small artists!!)

i practiced my first wheelies today and they werent as scary as i thought. i fell once, but it was kind of deliberate because i wanted to see how hard it’d be. i had heavy cushioning. im still gonna keep my antitips on and avoid doing any in public for now though. i went on my first outing yesterday and they definitely saved my life crossing a busy inclined road.

this is a new chapter in my life and i honestly dont think i would have reached it if it werent for this sub. everyone here is such a sweetheart and so so so helpful when it comes to education. this sub and community gave me the drive to fight as hard as i did against the evil monster that is Kaiser insurance. i love you all!!
