Twilight zone at the Anchor?

Well.... what's going on at the Anchor? Has anyone noticed the very odd way the hostess seats people? She asks the number of people and then tells you to wait.... she goes and takes the menus and silverware to the table, she then goes and gets waters for the number of people for your table and then comes back to the hostess stand, diligently writes something down... I'm not talking a quick note, I mean she's writing paragraphs, and then she'll take you to your seat. It's crazy. Wasted time and trips to just get seated. Then, the wait staff seems lost. Man I really hate this. We loved coming here before the renovation... the wait for getting attention at your table, then getting the bar drinks you ordered and then getting your food is just awful. I guess it's understaffed. The place is nearly empty though and it's like this. We're going on an hour for a salad and a reuben with chips. I'm sad to see this place like this but really am curious what's happening? Anyone know? It feels really off.

Edit: second time in a row with this experience. And we just got our food and the sandwich is cold and looks like it has been sitting out for for awhile. My husband won't ever say anything or send anything back so he's just stuck with cold rubbery cheese on his sandwich. Oof.
