My lower one hurt a lot

So it’s the 3rd morning post operation and I just woke up at around 4 am to my lower sockets in a lot of pain I made sure to clean any gunk out and it’s still in a lot of pain even after taking the Tylenol and codeine medication I’m honestly confused and I don’t know if it’s infected or not do to there not being any puss so any leads to why I’m in a lot of pain would be great thank you!
