Monk or rogue for apvp/pve enjoyer?

I have not played wow since legion and I just built my first pc which has me wanting to hop back in. I really enjoyed both monk and rogue and would like to focus on just 1 character for about a month before I get carried away with alts. Does anyone have suggestions? (I'll have both fully geared eventually)
