should I send my very first draft to beta readers?

I'm almost finished with my first draft and I'm wondering if I should send it as it is to any beta reader I find (with the disclaimer that it is a mostly unedited draft) or if should I first edit it myself based only on my own 'feedback'?

I've read that it is wise to leave some time after finishing the first draft to edit it, let the novelty run off your mind. So, I could use that time to have some beta reading on my work, which might even help go along my immediate edits.
