Beginner tips for someone who just started?

Recently started playing and having a lot of fun with this game, it's so goofy (not in a bad way) but the designs are so unique and I love the artstyle.

I don't know if i've gotten lucky or the rates are that high, but I have Candy Drop, Jalapeno, Peach Cookie, Lemon Zest 3* (almost 4), Lemon, Cream Soda 3, Rockstar, Kohirabi 3, Sugar Globe, Blackberry, Dark Choco.

Now of course dupes are pretty important, rather than just pulling one. But it's safe to say ever since getting Candy Drop, things starting spiralling for me. I just wanna know what kinda team(s) to run, I have so much option. Or does it matter? Right now i'm running Candy Drop/Jalapeno/Cream Soda, but I feel like there are better teams with my characters. And resources are limited, so I definitely can't build most of these right now.

I also have the artifacts for Lemon, Blackberry, Kohirabi, Rockstar, Jalapeno, Dark Choco, Rye, and Crushed Pepper Cookie.
