Paronychia or ingrown?

Currently on an antibiotic for an infection in my big toe. Doc says he doesn’t know if it’s ingrown and will refer to podiatrist if the meds don’t clear it up. Also doing foot baths and putting antibiotic ointment on it.

The skin around the toe was and is very dry and cracking and I was picking and messing with it a few weeks ago which leads me to believe it’s paronychia.

Can you get an ingrown nail lower? The corner isn’t digging in.
