TIL the first take of the London Symphony Orchestra recording John Williams's "Superman" theme was ruined by director Richard Donner running out of the control room and onto the studio floor screaming, "Bravo! Genius!" because he "heard" the theme "saying Superman's name": "SU-PER-MAAAAAN".
