5k each is 10K. That’s a fair chunk of cash that you could use to travel, put down as a house deposit, use for upgrading your house. Given that you are just getting married I’m guessing your in that stage of life. And PE is totally fine. If anything use some of the money to get a nice hotel or spa treatment and you’ll soon recover from the flight.

Can you really afford it? If you need to make a post and all, I don't think you can. It is not worth putting yourselves in a financially tight spot just for a trip. That money is probably better invest for you guys at this point in time.

Fair point. It is within our finances / wouldn't put us in a tight spot, but obviously it is money that could be spent elsewhere. Guess my question was more-so whether in peoples' experiences the business experience is worth the 3x price tag of PE. But based on the other responses seems like a 'no' and PE is perfectly fine (and as you say, if have to post about it maybe we don't actually want it that bad).
