3 years ago, I found a new Sharp MT270H in its box for 40 euros. I loved its look, its weight, its battery life of between 33 and 44 hours! It instantly became my daily player. And when I found another one for 50euro in its box last week, who could blame me for buying it?

As a Walkman, Discman, and other Minidisc collector, you can understand why I'm thrilled to have found this new Sony NWZ-B162 for 20 euros! Okay, the battery will obviously need replacing, but that doesn't diminish my happiness! What do you think?
Everything about Walkman® Vintage Portable Cassette Player and Digital Audio Player, Discman and everything else that ends with man that is made by Sony.
It's hard to imagine a more iconic cassette than the TDK D60 !! I think anyone who has used a cassette has had it in their hands at least once in their life. 1985 version, type 1.

I recently acquired several Sony MZ E32s and while using them, I wondered what other minidisc player they reminded me of. I've pulled out my complete collection, and it's the Sharp MD MT90, which looks a lot like them! As well as the MT99, MT88, MT90W, MT80W, MT45....!

Kept it cheap on purpose: One of the amps I use often just gave out: my Yamaha RX-E410 decided it no longer wants to power on. While I search for a proper replacement, I still wanted to use my Klipsch speakers. So I picked up this little amp for €40.

AKAI MD-720 I've never seen this minidisc deck before. There isn't much information about it. So I'm sharing with you the photos of someone who has put it up for sale in France. It looks like a Sony MDS S40.

A simple minidisc in ugly packaging. The BlueSKY Minidisc, manufactured by Maxell for Carrefour: a lesson in extreme cost-cutting. These are blank minidisc that I unwrap very quickly! :D

I was looking for cassette decks that were cheap and easy to repair and give to friends. I found this TEAC V-510 for 20euro and the Sony TC-K215 for 12euro. I'm hoping that a good cleaning and belts replacement will make them good first decks for discovering cassettes, what do you think? :)

Snoo thought he heard a subliminal message on the latest cassette he was playing. He eagerly unscrewed the screws on each corner of the tape. It didn't take long to put the reels on backwards. When he finished it wasn't much of a surprise it was telling him to share pictures of his cassette tapes, cassette players, analog equipment on Reddit. It also wanted him to promote tape labels, make tape compilations, and share the love of the format. The tape self destructs. Snoo eats the magnetic tape!

Failing to own a superb Net MD minidisc deck, I prefer to own several Net MD recorders, which I hope will enable me to enjoy our favorite medium for a long time to come !

Between 1994 and 1995, Sony marketed the MDW-60 and MDW-74 blank Minidisc. This was an update of the media design, allowing the disc to be seen in its case.

One of my best friends asked me to record his album on micro-cassettes, just for fun. It's not designed for recording music, it's in mono, there's no bass, but we're impressed by the audio quality. Come on, I've got about thirty more to record!
