Is there another game like FOE where you work together as a guild/community?

Hey friends. I have a Nikon 7II and only have a 28mm at this point just so I can learn mirrorless before plunging. A friend of mine asked me to take photos of her very large family. Hoping someone can tell me what the best lens would be that creates great photos but won’t break my bank? TIA
