In 1997, I was 16 when my best friend was murdered. I haven’t had the courage to go see him until today. I love and miss my “fifth Beatle” everyday…even after all this time. Merry Christmas Cory! 🎄💔🎸

TIL Alberta King, the mother of Martin Luther King Jr., was murdered six years after his assassination (1974). She was shot and killed while playing the organ in Ebenezer Baptist Church, where her husband and son both preached.

It’s completely destroyed 1/4 of markers dating back to the 1840’s…absolutely devastated. Trinity Episcopalian Church, 1846
