Is there any way I can get him to turn is sheild off so he can use a gun? He's from the refugee empire and didn't come with armour, so I'd prefer he not be a melee combatant while I have him. I know that I can let him die with no consequences, but I'm trying to run an ethical colony here.

Just noticed that this captured prisoner is braindead. My ideoligion doesn't like executing prisoners, doing slaves, drinking blood and I have no sanguinophages. What can I do with her? Will I just have to take the mood hit for her to stop being a drain on the colony?
