The Manhunt manual was a work of art all on its own. Nothing like reading it on the way back from the video rental store as a kid and wondering what I was getting myself into, the warning on page two was brilliant. Really pleased to still own my copy of it.

One thing I don't think Lovecraft gets credit for but is fantastic at are his set-ups to the story. I love when he instantly puts you in the shoes of a scientist or university student before the weird begins... Are they any other writers/novels that do this as well?
