It is, but its not a storewide decision, its highly dependant on many factors for an indivudal walmart and how well a product is selling and if they need to get rid of the stock to make room for other products that. This store is getting rid of their pine tar because it just doesnt sell at all at it's original price, and theyve essentially put it on clearance and wont be recieving any more for this location. At the time of taking the picture there were only 5 left.

No it wasnt a mistake the salesfloor team lead just wants to get rid of it because no one is buying it and its just sitting on the shelves when we have alot of items to put out thats in overstock haha.
