Haha, nothing to be sorry for! And yeah, it isn’t usually peoples first choice when it comes to things they want to learn to draw, especially for artists who are starting out with the idea that they just want to make cool character art. You seem to be pretty fresh into illustrating and creating so really don’t stress yourself out over learning all the 100% proper proportions, fundamentals, geometry techniques etc etc all these other artists insist on- just have fun for the time being with your artwork and study whatever you want feel you can and want to improve all in your own time and you’ll get exactly where you want to be with your work with time ☺️

his hair is too big for his face, if his hair is that big it would also make you assume his skull is around that side which just doesnt add up. you might also wanna make his mouth smaller. I'd say just practice with anatomy more. Your art isnt inherently bad but it can use improvement, just like most art. My main piece of advice is fix the head and face proportions
