advice for others to make friends?

In fairness, she shouldn't be throwing anything back in your face if you're trying to help her. You're being accommodating enough including her in your friend group. Is she not from Limerick that she has no network here? How come she isn't socialising with her peers on her course? That would be how most of us made our friend groups.

She’s from limerick,she just took a year out and i’m pretty sure most of her friends from school either went to different colleges or didn’t at all. I’ve mentioned it to her several times to try and make conversation with the people in her course but she says it’s too awkward and everyone has their little groups by now so there’s no point. Frustrating to no end
